Cathy Echternach has been teaching, training, riding and showing for over 30 years and she is passionate about what she does, Teaming with Beth (Heubisch) Brooke, Echternach Dressage delivers personalized attention and training programs to suit every rider's needs,

Cathy Echternach

Cathy has been a professional trainer and rider for more than 30 years. She's earned her Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Gold Bar FEI recognition, and won USDF year-end awards through Grand Prix.

At the acclaimed Hillcrest Farms in VA Beach, Cathy trained students and horses to FEI levels
Working with the team at the Maryland Horse Center, Cathy led and managed career schools accredited through the University of Maryland
Prior to her new home base with Broad Run Farm, Cathy led a successful business at Sugarloaf Equestrian Center for over 25 years
Students of Cathy have successfully earned Bronze, Silver, and Gold medals, and year-end awards at local and national levels through Grand Prix
Cathy has also started young horses, and expertly trained and shown them through Grand Prix
She is an accomplished coach for show jumping and dressage teams
Introduced to dressage by Nancy Tomlinson and Elizabeth Madlener, Cathy's primary influencers include Pam Goodrich, Franz Rochowansky, Conrad Schumacher, Bill Warren, and the late Uwe Steiner (may he rest in peace).

Beth (Heubisch) Brooke

Beth has 30 years of training and coaching experience. She's earned her USDF Bronze and Silver medals, and has won the USDF All Breed awards.

As a professional, Beth has shown successfully through Intermediare II
Beth is well-known for her track record of starting, training, and showing young horses through the levels. She gives these young horses quality training, builds their confidence, and facilitates their smooth transition to highly satisfied amateur riders
Coached students through 4th level and Prix St. George
Mentored and trained Junior Rider / Young Rider teams for 5 consecutive years; teams placed in the top 3 in Region One competition
Beth's top influencers in her riding career include Cathy Ecthernach, Conrad Schumacher, Bill Warren, Pam Goodrich, and the late Uwe Steiner (may he rest in peace).
